About Our School

Skyview Community School first opened its doors on Sept. 3, 1996. We serve more than 600 students from the communities of Oakdale, Woodbury and Lake Elmo. Skyview is really two schools in one, a K-5 elementary and a middle school serving students in grades 6-8.

Skyview was designed with input from educators, parents, and community members who envisioned people of all ages working and learning together. The building is divided into houses where two grade levels share a common area for group work and special projects.
